Ummm

I sure hope this was up on 420.
Where on earth did you come up with the story?

Shveet

lol how does being a tentacle monster explain how he got out there so fast?

awesome

I was laughing that whole way through, but the beacuase had me on the floor.
I haven't laughed this hard a a NG cartoon in a long time.

There are so many of those kinds of reviews around. It's so awesome someone could show the humor in them.

Yeah... it's just awesome.

YES

AWESOME
One of the best artists on Newgrounds, and Brian Sadler too!! Are you using stuff he has in the audio portal, or is he actually scoring it? (I think that's the term)

HappyHarry responds:

Brian wrote this music especially for Starbarians :)

Fucking KickAss

Awesome job Mr. Gates, I can tell you really put a lot of effort into this. I loved the way you didn't let anything intimidate you; you pulled off massive camera sweeps, tricky angles and tricky bird/ dragon anatomies that I know a lot of people would have been scared to attempt. You've got the right attitude for sure, like you could seriously become really good.
I've had that audio problem, where after a certain number of frames the sound inexplicably starts to lag. If you have already tried changing the audio on the timeline to either an event or a start or stream and it still doesn't work, try whatI did:
1. Get rid of the layer on the timeline that the sound is on. Keep the music layer though.
2. Make a movie clip named after each sound in your library.
3. In each movie clip, put the sound it is named after in the first frame as a start or an event.
4. On the main timeline, make a new layer for the sound and create keyframes for all the places sound is needed.
5. Drag the appropriate movie clips into the keyframes (be sure to put a blank keyframe in the frame after it, so that the sound only plays once).
I hoped that helped, and good luck with your future projects.

Hah, great!

I love the fact that there was nothing in his room except his bed. Poor Jerry.

Great

Man this is such a nice break from some of the other crap on here. Beautiful work from everyone. I loved the climbing sequence in Zwickel's last part. Rtil those shooting stars looked a little stiff but the tween zooming out saved it for you. I hope to see more from all you people.

Zwickel responds:

Woo, glad you liked the freerunning kiddo.

Pretty Cool

I had no idea what the hell was going on but it was great fun to watch. You mix the tweening in with the fighting really well and the fbf was great, but a couple of times it looked a little too smooth, like when the little white ghost was sent flying by a punch. I think you could have use a few less frames there to make it faster. Great job overall though. I'll definitely be looking into this series. Good luck with the next project.
